Reuben "insert middle name here" Kramer
About a month ago I was talking to Kaela and the issue of me NOT having a middle name came up in the conversation. This is a conversation I have ALL the time with people because it is pretty uncommon for someone not to have a middle name.
Fed up, I told Kaela that she should think of a middle name for me so that I would have to worry anymore. Well, Kaela didn't really think of one for me, so I am now calling out to YOU. I would like to know what you think my middle name should be and what you think would sound the best.
And yes, there is a prize for your suggestion being picked. I will officially change my name to what you picked and I will be known by that FOR-E-VER (well, not really). Impress me!

I heard a true story about some parents where the Mom really wanted to name their son's first name...and made a deal with her husband that if she was able to name the first name...he could name the middle name...whatever he wanted. And so the big day comes...and some regular name is followed by the middle name of "The Destroyer". True story. Now..how cool would it be to be able to go up to that person and say..."Hey...you're not the only one!" Yah...that's what I thought....

Well, it would have to be ridiculous, but not ridiculous enough so that people don't believe you...
And I think the best way to do that would be to have it as a very feminine name. 'Reuben Rose Kramer'...no. That's terrible. Find a good one that flows.

Hey Reuben..came across your blog and your quest for a middle name. That's admirable. It's gotta be a good one, and it needs to go along with your already very cool name. Hmmm. I've given it some thought and I've come up with Schmuley. It's a good Jewish name, goes nice with Reuben and Kramer...sounds funny and cool at the same time (just like you) and best of all it means "God Hears" which He totally does. That's my vote.

hey dude, i never had a middle name until i was 10. my parents just didn't choose one and then they lost my gift certificate. so for my birthday i got to choose my own middle name. luckily, i didn't choose anything like "princess felicia" or something crazy like that. just rebecca.
